People Focused Project Management

In episode six of The Everyday Determinator Podcast, I spoke with Julia Starzyk. Julia is the founder and managing director of Star Projects, which is an independent project and cost management consultancy based in London. They provide services for clients with luxury private residential properties.

We discussed:

A people focused approach to project management — both Julia and I are advocates for supporting the next generation of construction professionals and we discuss this as well as looking after the people we work with in industry just now.

We also talked about being a woman in Construction in the UK in the current climate and why a career in Construction can be a career of opportunity for women from different career paths and young people looking towards construction as their future pathway.

We also discussed the importance of Networking for the construction industry and how we met through Clubhouse. We also share some of the opportunities that networking has brought us.
